| Lek fist which is a style i'm developing, is kind of like a a child of Hung Gar. I kept most of the deep rooted stances i learned, but applied more of a african martial art rythm to the striking blocks. The crippling strikes are made quicker and more in synch with the over all motion. I made forms which start like strikes but end with chin na. The kicks are used to form devasting sweeps, in stead of standard low kicks. It is meant to be calm yet ferocious, soft yet hard, pushing yet pulling. It has had an african influence along with the Hung Gar. I have only been working on it for about a year. So its being created but its getting there. One day i hope to open up a school and teach it. |
