Day rushes out and attacks backing Grove up. Grove throws a wayward head kick. Day continues to mount the attack right up until he eats a straight right hand on the back end of a one-two. Day cascaded backwards on the mat where Grove followed with elbows until Referee Rick Fike came to a stiff Day's rescue at 1:32 of the opening frame. |
