Thumbs down

I just watched it and it was pretty ridiculous. The extreme sports gang fight with brightly colored spray paint? The Segway get-away? Johnny's "Punk" henchmen? I think I saw one guy wearing a Stone Cold Steve Austin shirt. And let's not forget the visually stunning boat/helicopter crash. The "put 1,000 guys through every inanimate object" action got old faster than Mark Wahlberg's music career and this list combined. All that, on top of the crazy elephant plot I couldn't watch anymore than an hour of it. I felt like I was trapped in 1992.

Ong-Bak is a superior film in every ways. It even has a decent story for a MA flick. I hope Mr. Jaa doesn't continue down this current path of awesomeness. I've seen him do better.
