IMHO it is a big yes because like stated earlier it builds your muscles for the right movements related to martial arts, more than weight lifting. Also, take it from the Jaa man. look at his spinning kicks, and tripple flips, and watch as he jumps over cars. Gymnastics helps you with all of that.
if you are in TKD, gymnastics can help you jump higher and also spinn more and be more flexible with you kicks.
Gymnastics are especially big for the XMAs or Tricking martial artists
