I have persionally seen some Aikidoists not do so well in confrontations.
There was even a "expert", who challenged anyone at a local tourney for a exhibition.
A person accepted, and the Aikidoist circled, but could not block every combination thrown. In other words, the challenger faked out the man. Worse, they went into ground mode and the Aikidoist could not counter.
But, as with anything, the practitoners make the art. |
Ya you are totally right. But I'm going to test this this Sunday. Close confrontations...
