What I am basically getting at is that the movements that make up the art only have basis in other things. Their uniqueness is what makes them useful (i.e. it is hard to hit someone if they are moving around in a way you don't understand). Likewise it is also their uniqueness that makes them interesting and fun. Surely you cannot be against someone pursuing an avenue of general interest and intrigue... | A uniqueness to moving, per hard to hit someone may seem a good thing.
