From what I have noticed there are 3 major TaeKwonDo style differences.
1- G.M. Duk Sung Son style - ChungDoKwan WTA (world tkd association)
2- WTF and those similar it
3- ITF and those similar to it
In my opinion, the techniques are taught very different.
WTA teaches many of the blocks coming from the hip
WTF based sets most blocks similar to ITF but most kicks are "snapping" not many "thrusting" kicks
ITF based teaches the thrusting kicks
