I'm sorry if what I was saying was confusing. I am by no means saying that they are all absolutely identical. Rather, the differences are all very small in comparison to the differences between Tae Kwon Do and, say, Sambo. I would think (though I am not sure) that you would be hard pressed to find a Dan rank in any of the sub-styles of Tae Kwon Do who would not be able to pick up all the additional skills in a different sub-set in less than a few hours.
