You will get stand up fighting in BJJ as well although Judo focuses more on it IMO. Judo is usually cheaper. It seems to go with the whole Judo mentality, most teachers seem to be of the attitude that they would give their knowledge away if they could. BJJ has become all the rage thanks to MMA on TV and therefore. People who teach it seem to think it's ok to charge quite a bit of money for it. I am fortunate because i don't pay too much where I train although I started there doing Krav Maga but the price hasn't changed.
Where I take Judo, you can pay 5 dollars a class or you can pay a monthly fee of 25 dollars. Not very expensive and definitely worth it.
