| Very strange... can't tell if it is real science or not as the idea of self-hypnosis seems a little out there.
Anyway, a way to test if the two hemispheres of the brain are really working independently is to have the person close one eye and then look at something such as a face made out of fruit. With one eye open the person will only be able to see that it is a collection of fruit, but with the other eye the person would only be able to see the face.
At the very least, it is interesting. |
