1.) In all fairness, this is what I've been trying to say.
2.) Time and practice to get one to a certain level of tolerance. However, I am not speaking of time and practice to be able to go past a certain time. Simply, the stance I am speaking of has three phases and each are designed to spend less time on them to a certain level. The time spent in the stances/phases, is not the emphasis (where other time has to be in account for other routines/things in a given workout). Additionally, lack of circulation takes its toll.
