I think it has a lot to do with the majority of these guys being "fighters" and not true martial artists. Very few of them show respect for one another let alone to property. For someone who isn't already a fan of the UFC, what do you think they would think seeing crap like that for the first time? I think it gives the sport a bad rep, but at the same time probably shows exactly how a lot of these guys really are. I don't recall the first season or two having all the house desctruction, or least it wasn't shown as much--am I wrong? I know they focused more non-training time on the team challenges, which at least gave them something else to show besides the guys "hanging" at the house.
