I'm also a fiscal conservative. Being a liberal isn't necessary a bad thing, no more than being conservative is a bad thing.
Look at the politics of the nation and I think you can see that Obama's comments have [i]some[i] merit, though they were worded very badly. People are frustrated with our government. The comments in this tree alone refelect that. It isn't a right wing or left wing, liberal or conservative, Rpublican or Democrat thing. When people don't know what to do about a situation they tend to fall back upon things they are most comfortable with, its human nature.
As far as racism, it has been in politics and this country since the beginning of this country. If you think it is a dead issue that is being brought bqack into exsistance just to elect a certain man, you should pull your head outta the sand. | Or a Certain Woman
