ummm Guys, Sanda and San Shou are not "styles."

San Shou is a type of sport kung fu. It scores for strikes and throws. It used to score for throwing the opponent off the lei tai, but most matches are now held in boxing rings, making that rule obsolete. These are full contact matches. Example of a great San Shou fighter is Cung Le.

San Da basically means full contact fighting. In my opinion, any kung fu school should have some San Da at a certain level of training.

Calling San Da and San Shou styles are like calling MMA a style. Its so much more...and less in some ways, than a codified system.

Anyone claiming to teach either of these as a style would make me very nervous to train from.
