| dont really remember my record for tournaments. memorable ones are winning the gold medal for tkd in Puerto Rico when i was a teen at junior olympics. got on the front page of the local newspaper in the Virgin Islands for that one.
my first tournament i attented when i started training in TKD, which was a open Karate/ Juijitsu tournament. i remember that one well cause knocked out my first oponent an he needed medical attention. been in alotta tournaments both TKD and open to other styles. a little more recently, was on the TKD competition team in Korea before i transfered. only fought in one tournament though cause i used to go to the field an pull missions alot.
competing in Mainland America doesnt interest me much cause we used to beat the crap out of them when they came to the Caribbean for tournaments. but i might get back into it
grew up in different enviroments and done the street thing so theres lots of fights involved in that.
got into some fights when i was in Job Corps either from prejudiced mainlanders or people from other styles/schools. this happened in high school too an was one of the reasons i got kicked out.
had a very fair share of bar and club fights in places like Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Thailand, Diego Garcia (British owned Island), and Hawaii
the competition ones were chest pads, head gear an shins optional for TKD, some of the open ones were no protector gear besides optional foot an shin pads an headgear.
