anyone? why do you think some feel this way? |
well when i spar its easier because most styles have a set stance or they are predictable or i am familiar with the types of techniques they will use so i have an idea of what to and what not to do.
also i can use my footwork to move around them or away or even in close very fast. but with the kids in high schools these days, some of them know how to fight and they usually just swing out of control so you have to be very aware of whats going on and stuff. plus they dont have any set stance sometimes and they imitate muhammed ali and are always bouncing so they can actually move pretty decent.
but i think that since they only know offense with fists then they dont know how to defend against kicks, knees, elbows, headbutts, throws, joint locks, etc etc so its easier because they leave a WHOLE LOT of themselves open. also mentally they dont expect me to know how to fight due to their own over confidence so once i land a good blow their morale goes down a lot, leaving me to psyke them out and just keep pounding away.
against a martial artist however they know or have knowledge on how to defend effectively and fight effectively.
