There was something that disturbed me about the video. Notice how many people there were with thier hands down? Absolutely no upper gate defence at all. No upper gate defense makes many of the techniques you saw in this video very easy and gives the guy preforming them a very large anount of time to get them done, relatively speaking.
I have landed on my feet from a hip throw a few times. I don't think it is something that is worth practicing for MMA type stuff because that time is better spent perfecting things like getting someone into guard. Just saying that strange stuff is possible that could mess this up big time.

Agree about the hands down part, but it was point-stop sparring so I wasn't even going to say anything.
