Thing is I've noticed allot of people forget/don't know that Seiko Fujita (the last Grandmaster of Koga Ryu Ninjutsu) was an Intelligence Officer for the Japanese Navy during the shino wars. He was recruited to teach aspects of Ninjutsu, Jujutsu and Kenpo to Japanese Commandos and Espionage Agents. There are several clear lines of succession between Fujita's post as instructor and several former soldiers whom he trained.
So while allot of LARPers look at Fuedual Japanese History, the actual history of modern Japan clearly states that 1) those trained at the Nakano School did refer to themselves as "ninja" and 2) the military higher did refer to these men often as "ninja."
So while allot of people consider a ninjutsu ryu as "fake" unless it has a long tradition to the fuedual era of Japan, the very real members of Nakano School can both trace itself to Fuedual Japan and to Fujita's modernization of the Wada-Ha System into the Sato Ryu system. Basically a reference to Mr. Katawashi who replaced Seiko Fujita, Don Dreguer, Ashida Kim, Hatsumi, Haha Long and the British SAS
