Yea, whey would be good for you. I drink a shake after I workout. Honestly, if I were you, I would lift seriously for a year and see what type of gains you make, then start thinking about supplements. I have been lifting seriously for around 11 years and didnt start supplements till maybe about 3 in. I recommend you lift seriously and start a good diet. Those should be your top priorities at this point.
