Sounds like a very reasonable deal. And training with former UFC champion is priceless.
As for the testing fee, I remember it being a flat fee for all the color belts in the past (~$30) but I had noticed a new trend a while ago where they are now charging $10 more per each higher belts, ($30, $40, $50, and so on). As soon as one school started doing it, all other schools followed.
