Is that cheating? |
Possibly. I would view it as such, but it depends on the rules...Which I really dislike rules...but I play by them.

I don't understand...If the guy tries to pull me into guard, and I stand back up, why wouldn't he stand up? If he just lays there on his back, then he'll end up having to stand up if he wants to fight. Simple. No, thats not cheating. It's called fighting.

It wouldn't happen...Not because he wouldn't be able to get me down, but because I wouldn't be abel to hold on that long! LOL But, no, thats not cheating.

Do I train people for MMA fights? Nope...I don't. If I did, I would probably have a different opinion, but I don't.

So I wouldn't ever be competitive in combat sports?

Now I'm depressed. I guess there are no other combat sports competitions except for MMA? Of course there are. I have competed in them and done quite well in fact. Try telling a boxer that he doesn't do a "real" combat sport. I have competed in martial arts competitions for the last 12 years and done quite well. The difference is, I'm there at the comptitions to LEARN, not just to compete and win. As long as you go into the competition with a learning mind, you will learn, and even if you loose the fight, you win because you learned.
