| Bring the Pain, You Won't Gain When I was a wee lad, I often wanted to take my anger out on my parent. So I joined martial arts, and I began to do just that. I soon learned that beating up my dad was not the answer. I didn't gain anything, and he kept grounding me. Granted, I would just beat him up again, but it was a vicious cycle. I soon found myself on the bad end of the law, and faced with juvenile justice, I saw what all my bad deeds had accomplished.
Do not follow my path. Join martial arts for the spiritual. Cultivate the tiger spiritual of the mind, and you will go far.
So why did you join martial arts?
