Anyways, here is a modern representation of a dirk. A more classical take would be straight smooth blade, one edged, bone or wood handle, around 14 inches long. Good for fighting in the off hand, or when backed into a corner. Useually hidden in the kilt folds or boot.  |
That is a very beautiful piece of art. Too beautiful to be used as a killing tool.
