| Im perplexed, the traditional egyptian sword has a distinct curve (notably for decapition) im wondering therefore if prehaps a diffrent, additional, or modified fighting system was invented for the curved sword, i have never seen a straight egyptian sword in any archive, so prehaps this is not for warfare merely a martial sport of the ancients?, I believe if my memory serves me correctly that the double cresent moon blade is the oldest double sided polearm......often seen with Ushabati statues, who are believed to protect tombs physically if the need arises. Anyhow thats my two cents.
