At the place where I purchased my katana, replicas of both the Buster Blade and Sepiroth's odachi were being sold. The shopkeeper kindly informed me that the Buster Blade was a "B**** to move around".
I held Sepiroth's odachi, and if I've ever seen an unwieldy and heavy sword, that was it. I have no idea how samurai would use those things all those hundreds of years ago.
