Now i have limited knowledge of jj however just like hapkido and aikido joint locks are used, however jj tends to not use any strikes such as punches or kicks

That really only applies to the Brazilian style of juijitsu. Japanese styles of jujitsu, of which there are many, do have striking in the curriculum.

Aiki-jujitsu is said to be one of the many electic arts originally incorporated in hapkido so they have many similarities, to my knowledg however i havnt seen aiki-jujitsu practiced before
