These balls, are more of a subsonic-vibration, or resonance application. The purpose is to stimulate areas of the hand to cultivate Chi flow. But I found, more to relieve stress.

This idea was somewhat copied upon the release of "hand exercise balls for office workers".

My Shifu used to claim some type of relation with them to Chi, but because my brother-in-law is a regular doctor, he had explained that it just a excercise to calm.

Though he had supported that any item of resonance, helps to relieve tension.

I think they are a tad overated, and somewhat of a sales marketing ploy, unless there is a Dai Fu whom can properly teach it.

I have received a set from my Shi Fu/Dai Fu, and he taught me the exercises, which is many, way apart than one/you may think.

I havent used mine for some time. They are packed on one of my shelves, as mine arent the common decorated junk that is sold. In other words, mine were "plain".

IMHO, you be better off working with a grip exercise.

Why'd you type the same thing three times in your post? For emphasis or something?

Anyways, thanks for the info. What would some grip exercises be?
