Quick modern wushu question.

I have a problem with butterfly twists, I just can't do them. I nail the butterfly kick since like 3 months and since a few weeks I'm trying to take butterfly kicks to the next level (butterfly twists ) but I can't do the rotation after the kick. Should I get a better momentum/rotation before jumping, or should I do something in mid-air (take my arms and legs closer to my body, something like that)?

This is one of the better tutorials on the b-twist that I have found. Its short and to the point and doesn't have you sitting for hours watching a video while you should be practicing.
