Was that the Hong Kong "Scorpion King" (no not one with the Rock)? Guy defeats a Scorpion practitioner (think push up position with one leg raised over the back) using the Flounder technique (kind of like the Worm as practiced by Break Dancers).

No, it was an old Jackie Chan movie that was actually made by some producer splicing bits of different films together. Don't remember the name of it. It was really, REALLY bad.

Wow, two martial arts movies with "fish technique" martial arts. That makes it official then, "fish style" is a legitmate martial arts school.
My research shows that it was originally formulated by Sandy (from Monkey Magic) during his incarnation as a river monster. He then passed it to a western student known as the Creature from the Black Lagoon who utilised to hand Frank Dux his first loss in a Kumite fight. He then altered it into a ninjutsu syllabus which he handed down to Ashida Kim. Can I change my animal from ox to fish? Man I just have way too much time on my hands right now.

Careful, someone might mistake that for a lineage and want you to charge them lots of money to male gill motion with your hands

Snake in the Eagles Shadow or Drunken Master. I can't remember which one. Where Jackie Chan goes to town to get some fresh fish and comes back and the fish are are all dead and smelly. So the rich family gets mad at him and he uses the fish. I think this is the movie you are referring to.

Definitely wasn't Drunken Master or Snake in the Eagle's Shadow.
Fish style is owned by the 'Guanzhong Fishing Rod' form. Deadly, especially the 'Hook to Mouth' technique.
Yes, but it has to be "set" first

Perhaps it is.
Just to let you know what a crab bite is and a lobster claw strike is, it is this:
crab bite is your index finger and thumb and it is used to the wind pipe (throat). a lobster claw is almost the same thing except the hand is inverted. Applied to same area.
The strikes are for real, not made up. As are all the other strikes I had mentioned (ie, snake bite, ox hand strike, immortal man strike, etc...)
Perhaps it is.

What are the differences between those strikes and the strangles used in 'Eagle Kung Fu'?
Perhaps it is.

A rose by any other name is still a rose....the florist always try to "sell it" as something more than its worth.
