I have heard of this man. Personally, his theories and that theory application make me feel nervous. I would not seek him out for teaching, but to each his own. I feel some of what I've read by him does nothing more than promote the mysticism of some martial arts and through them his own. Mysticism is a large problem of today's modern TMAs. We need less mysticism and more verifiable scientific fact that works through the science of anatomy and physics. Not more "I studied animals for so-and-so years, so I am proficient at martial arts." If that were the case, most biologist would be world class fighters as well.

There are Taoist retreats and studies you can run. I think they are more on the west and east coast. You'd have to have the demand for it. I think there is actually a Taoist Temple out in Washington, but I'm not %100 certain of that.

BTW, Welcome to the forums!

Hey, don't bag biologists! I spent a year studying Biology (namely Anatomy, Hunter-Prey interactions and Physioloy) in order to improve my martial arts knowledge.
