An Interesting Article

I thought this article was particularly interesting because it is one of the things that seperates what I call real Wing Chun from newer Wing Chun. Although this article was written from the perspective of an internal stylist, it can apply to anyone using strikes. This posture will allow you to move and strike with the full power of the body and block with the entire structure of the body. The hardest thing to train into body memory is striking right before your front foot touches the ground. Its a timing issue that takes a lot of practice. However when mastered it makes strikes very destructive.

Good article..basic structure

Yeah its basic structure, but how many schools out there do you see that haven't a clue what real basic structure is? Tucking the coccyx is a basic to getting good structure yet I very rarely see martial artist doing this either.
