If you do a search I'm sure you'll come up with many around you. After that if you want advice about the schools or instructors, I know a lot of the people in the US kung fu circles. If I don't know, I'll tell you that too

Monterey is about 120 miles south of San Francisco. I did do a search for kung fu schools here in Monterey but nothing came up.

I thought there was one once here in Monterey that taught Bagua Zhang but I can't find any information on it.

Hmm well I did another search again and I found this place: JINGCHISHENCV.COM It's in Carmel which is near Monterey but I have never heard of this particular school of Taijiquan.

If you want touchy feely make you feel good new age type martial arts, then that would be the place for you. I'd be wary if combat ability was your goal.
