Interesting Fight Science

I caught the Fight Science program on National Geographic TV tonight. It was on different forms of animal style kung fu and the science underlying those forms. All of the martial artist and the test they did were pretty impressive.

Some of the MA is pretty impressive, but it really seems like the show's target audience is MA fanboys and LARPers. I caught a clip on Hulu where they were testing heat on the effect of a marine sniper, and whether or not they could really fire between heart beats.

Yeah, a lot of it is for the fan boys, and the animal kung fu episode was no exception. However, it was still interesting. The next one will be over the top fan boy bait, its on ninjas

I thought Bren Foster was a TKD guy i was surprised to see him showing Kung Fu.
