Great day for the 2nd amendment
Finally the supreme court has decided to end the debate. The 2nd amendment applies to individuals rights. I am sure that liberals and anti-gunners are wetting themselves over this one.

You should actually understand a person's position before making a statement like this. Obama actually released a statement saying he supports the decision. Of course he's a democrat and all democrats want to take people's hand guns away

He came out and said what he did because he wants to appeal to independent voters. if you look at his record, he is very anti gun. they played a clip of him last night on the news from not so long ago saying something totally different. He also is for taking away CCW permits. Perhaps YOU should understand his position. Thanks.
Barack and Hillary have always been real tight on gun control..It's not all guns they want to take tho..Just Semi auto pistols and assault rifles..the 2nd amendment is not to keep the king of england from coming over and stealing your mail....Its to ensure that our government can't be used against the masses...An armed populace is harder to abuse

Actually the second amendament was a gaurantee that citizens could bear arms for state militias, making it impossible ( in theory ) for the federal government to abuse its power with federal troops. Hand guns and thier use by criminals wasn't even an issue to be considered at that time. The thinking by a lot of the conservatives is "the right to bear arms" means any arms at all. The thinking by a lot of liberals is that is means only shotguns and rifles. Guns that have a purpose other than killing humans. I think like most things the answer is somewhere in the middle.
