New Belts Announced

With so many new members achieving high level ranks so soon, we are finally ready to announce more advanced belt system.

You already know about the color belt system all the way to the Black Belt I level (500).

There is a Black Belt II level at 1000 posts.
There is a Black Belt III level at 2000 posts.
There is a Black Belt IV level at 3000 posts.

Then, the Masters appear.

There is a Master I level at 5000 posts.
There is a Master II level at 7500 posts.
There is a Master III level at 10000 posts.

As soon as someone comes close to the Master III level, more advanced belts will be announced.

I'm not even one third way there and I've been at it for more than 2 years. But, you know, as forums grow and stays in business for several years, it's not common to see multiple people with thousands and tens of thousands of posts.

I don't want people concentrating on the number of posts, but just enjoy the good discussion and friendship with other members. The more you enjoy, the faster you'll achieve your level without even thinking about it.

as of right now it is based soley on the amount of posts you have made. naturally we encourage people to make quality posts and not just post to move up in rank..... generally that is not a problem, we have a good bunch of people here

Thanks for the update. I just hope that I am able to become a black beat most importantly. Then, I will move on from there. I would like people to understand my commitment to this site and to all of martial arts.

I think it will take me longer to get a black belt here than in BJJ

Closing in on my first year of membership here and I am 1/4 of the way to Master 3. Wow! This is going to take some dedication. I can only imagine what the Grand Master ranks are going to be like.
