Considered it but honestly, I'm not really sure I can actually deliver more prospects their way at this point. When we have like 10,000+ active members, then it's a completely different story.

It's not just raising money for this site, but providing values to our sponsors, so my focus has to be on growing the site first, then monetizing second.

I feel the response time on the forum has been much faster since upgrading it to a more powerful server.

Did anybody else notice it too or is it just my imagination?

Yeah even my girlfriend's computer loads the site quickly now, and her's is running with the bear min memory to run Windows. So, the change is a huge improvement. Also I haven't gotten any database errors either.

Respectfully, why do I get the server error message when using my computer?

I am using my wife's lap top on a different service provider.

Is like my IP is not being recognized.

Give it another day or two for the internet DNS (Designated Name Server) to propagate through. I've changed it from the main one yesterday, and it takes up to 48 hours for all the DNS in the world to change. The actual IP address of www.martial-forums.com has changed from the old server to the new server. However, it's possible that your computer is still pointing to the old server instead of the new, where I had turned off the forum, so you can't get in.

So, if you are seeing the forum is down while it's being upgraded to the new server, your computer is still looking at the old server.
