Forum AnnouncementsAnnouncements from the Forum Administrator
In order to promote popular topics for discussion, we will be counting which threads started by members have at least 1000 views.
There are several ones right now, including "To Ki, or not to Qi", which is more than a year old. There is the "FREE Uniform Giveaway", but that probably doesn't count.
I haven't thought of reward system yet but I think it's very valuable to the forum and the community for someone to start a thread that gets this much attention and participation.
To start off with, the first one to start a thread from today that gets at least 1000 views will be given a FREE Martial-Forums.com T-shirt.
And we will keep tally of how many of these threads that you have started achieve this level and there should be grand prizes for someone with like 5 or 10.
Complete, if I make additionally suggest that the topic be in either the 'styles' or 'training' section. I only say this because so far the UFC topics are our biggest topics routinely reaching over 12k posts (almost as high as 17k) and after that our next highest has 4k and is in the current event section. The UFC I understand, but above all this should be a Martial Arts Forum.
Also I think it adds a bit of challenge to the competition.
