Any posts counts in terms of numbers but we don't encourage members to say one word or "nice post" type of posting just to boost up their numbers.

It doesn't mean every post has to be an essay but if we suspect some members making too many meaningless posts, we may delete some of them and give them infraction.

This varies styles from styles. Since I made up the belts, it's based on my past experience in Hwa Rang Do. And in HRD, orange came before yellow.

Now here's a question for you JoaNor. Are the rankings that you have listed in your signature correct?

TaeKwonDo - WTF Style
White, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Green, Purple, Blue, Brown, Red, Red/Black, Black

I've never heard of or seen a pink belt before.

Every TKD club here in Korea has 10 coloured belts (white-Red/black), which represents each of the ten geup's. The colours may be different from Gwan to Gwan, but these are the official WTF TKD colours for the Geoje Region of Korea.
What the colours for each geup in the Seoul districts are, I have no idea.

I had taken TKD in Korea back in the 70's and in those days, there were only 6 belts - White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, and Black. It went from 10 Gup down to 1 Dan (first degree blackbelts) and basically you kept the same belt for 2 Gups each.

At some point, they expanded the number of belts......

Those are the exact same rankings that my TKD school has. Although I've seen orange belts in other styles. Pink belt just struck me as odd. No offense meant.
