Anybody seen Iron Man yet? As a long time Marvel fan, I was stoked when it came out, and it's a brilliant film. Plot line is disappointing but the CGI and acting more than make up for it. I freakin' love it.
I loved it. Go see it at the theater. Stan Lee said that the technology is in place to make any comic come to life and look real. I forget the guys name who played Iron Man I think maybe Morton Downey Jr. but he deserves an oscar and a nobel prize.

Spoiler at the end
yeah well just got back from seeing it, and i loved it. better than a lot of comic book movies. but about the plot, of course there is gonna be the same plot where the hero falls in love, and he almost dies or gets defeated, but hey i can learn to live with it. i hope one day they have a hero fall in the first film, and continue with a sequel to that.
but yeah what does everyone think about samuel L Jackson being Nick Fury?

Wow you're a genius, Samuel L. Jackson would RULE as Fury. What I think it was, it's like that there was no middle of the film. I mean, to me and my mate it seems it was a really long beginning, like up to the whole going up to the Middle East and destroying the Jericho missiles, and then it pretty much just jumped into fighting the big boss. There was no real build up I don't think. And there's a Captain America movie coming out next year I think. Can't wait.

uhhh well if you waited after the whole thing there is a small scene which i am about to explain
Stark walks into his house in California. he says the house computer things name, and the computer replies "welcome home" and then you hear a voice say "I am iron man......(words i forgot)" and then stark replies "who are you?" then you see nick fury step out and introduce himself.
thats kind of a breif discription of it, but guess who plays nick fury?

yeah there will be a sequel. i think thats why they was "long winded" with his origin to introduce new people to Iron Man
like how they did with Batman Begins. and Terrence Howard said in an interview the main reason he signed was to able to don the armor of Warmachine in the sequel.
kinda cool that Tony Stark/ Robert Downey will do a cameo in the new Hulk movie

Nick Fury in the new Ultimate Universe (which debuted with Ultimate Spiderman and continued with 'The Ultimates' replacing 'The Avengers') was based on Samuel L. Jackson. It is only right that Jackson play Nick Fury in the movies.
If they start tying these super hero movies together it would a pretty epic. I would love for them to make a movie trilogy based on 'Civil War'.

after he introduced himself, he said "the Avenger intiative"
or something like that.
