I'm Not Dead Yet

Hey how's everyone been, hello to the new users. Didn't particularly have alot of time lately, and I'm trying to save for a computer. So hope everyone's been fine. Complete asked for little updates from my training so here it is.

I don't know about luck, the man's a hard core verteran with the shotkan karate. everything and I mean EVERYTHING we do is japanese or has japanese intentions. His name is Lewis and he'll be one belt away from the last one soon. I don't know the belts that well so that's my best explanantion.

The training I love and hate because every time I do well the next class becomes hell lol. I even had a day where I showed up early to the kids class and was given a foam bat to which he said, "I want you to come at me like you're attacking. I need to show kids why its important to protect themselves." He definitely taught those kids what a 19 year old looks like while getting his butt beaten.

Then more katas, I mastered the first one after two tries. Not trying to brag because it just gets harder. More training and eventually a pat on the back and I get to go home all destroyed. Its not too funny while you're training but when you complain at all Lewis will get next to you and say, "MAN! YOU GET ALL THE GOOD TRAINING!!!". I just don't know what to say when he does that lol. This next Monday will be the beginning of my three step sparring. Can't wait! I'm not dead yet.
