Illogical yes, but then again so is most of thethings people do. For my experiences people who are poor or criminals (except for adicts) all tend to have a list of things they will and won't do. In jail everything is a matter of respect, you have to show respect to get respect like on the street. The price is often allot higher when all people have is the idea of respect...

Everything I know in life, I learned from watching the Fall Guy.
I did 9 months waiting to go to trial for three felony accounts of assaulting a federal officer. After some bitching and whining and arguing about civil rights violations and malicious prosicution they dropped three felonies to a single misdeminor and now I have like 4 year probation with feds left to do.
As for what happened, because it will come up. I fell and hit my head while mountain biking with my friends and a former student of mine. They let me go to sleep with a head injury and when I was taken to the hospital the nurse found diasapam (valum) in my system. I was given valum for PTSD and intermitant explosive disorder from my time in the military they didn't check levels just found it and said I OD and was trying to kill myself. So they basically gave me speed to counter the diazapam and when I tried to leave cause they wanted to say I was suicidal I ended up beating up three hospital security guards (who working for the VA count a federal marshalls on VA property and when in uniform). In 9m months I had been shipped from a local jail, to federal holding area, to a FMC, to Oklahoma, back to the local jail and given three months of "bond" so I wouldn't max out my sentence. Then I got stuck with 4 years & 3 months of probation at sentencing I got alittle less then 4 years left...
