if you pair up two judoka one knowing only the basics, which are some throws, and very minimal grappling, against a judoda who has much more experience, much more grappling techniques, and more effecient at throws then im going with the experienced judoka.
as would everyone else. no smart person unless they know something hiiden about that person would pick a white or yellow belt, to beat a brown or black belt.
I completely agree with what you are saying here.

To go back to the basics thing, it applies to what I have seen from Judo as well. I have a little experience in Judo (only several months) but when I see Judo guys in MMA, a lot of the throws I do see them use are the basic ones that I learned as a white belt.

No that was not my point. What I meant was that your basics such as shrimping positioning basic guard drills should be done every day and perfected. A fighter with a good foundation of basic techniques will always beat a fighter who just ignores what they have been taught before. You'll see more mma fights won with a triangle choke then you will a flying arm bar.

No matter what belt you are brown, black, super rainbow you should still work your basic techniques everyday.

Siroki Fighter,

What MMA events have you competed in and what is your fight record?

What about yours and Tri's? (Not in a sarcastic, challenging sense)

Triangle has posted his records.

I have not fought in an MMA event, I have only competed in BJJ and Submission Grappling tournaments.
