Home Country: | the other MMA yeah i know the title is controversial but dont get your panties in a bunch because its just a title...
ok now here is what i think is a great example of Mixed MArtial Arts, with no rules. i know its a movie scene but i think that Donnie Yen used a great variety of styles and techniques in this scene.

Home Country: | I posted on this a couple of weeks ago. This is a movie a MMA would enjoy as well. First scene is Donnie arresting a fellow at gym. He jumps up in the ring, does a double leg take down, then grounds and pounds. The first scene! Typical MMA fare. Things like that happen throughout the movie mixied with kung fu. It a flick worth buyin if you enjoy good fight choreography. Personally, I also really like Donnie Yen too.

Home Country: | Looks pretty cool, looks like they tried to increase the element of realism in the fight scene.

Home Country: | There is some stuff that is a bit...unrealistic, but its a movie. There are also scenes that look very real. Looks like Donnie trained pretty heavily in a grappling system and incorporated a LOT of it into his choreography.

Home Country: | I forgot the name of the movie but his final fight scene with Sammo Hung featured a lot of grappling as well. I remember seeing some armbars and rear naked choke tries. Maybe not as realistic since it was a movie but more entertaining than just pure kicking and punches. |
