Ok guys and girls...I've made a decision. I'm going to go and train in BJJ for a little while to improve my ground game. I'm going to be training here XFC training center Their head ground guy just fought in an XFC event and totally pounded the guy. In fact, every one of their guys that fought tonight won. There were guys there from Gracie Barra in Orlando, and a lot of other guys too. All said and done, I watched 8 fights tonight. Two of which were stopped due to excessive blood from one of the fighters. Massive cuts and such. Anyway, Haki Lee is the chief instructor at the XFC training facility, and he is a really nice guy. I've spoken to him before on a personal note, and he is really cool. He's got quite a few years of TMA training which I like and can relate to also. Anyway....I doubt I'll ever step into the ring on a professional type thing, but this is just going to help me and my own school and system.

Awesome, you will love it. Keep us posted. I dont plan to do any pro stuff either but I am hoping to do a bjj competition though at some point next year.
Glad to hear you're going to give some groundwork a try. A word of caution for you, however.
This guy is NOT a real Brazilian Jiu-Jitu black belt. I asked around and some legitimate BJJ purple belts went and trained with this guy and they all agreed that his skills are around a blue belt level. Apparently when they trained with him they were able to dominate him which upset him greatly and he kicked them out. He is not looked on very favorably by the BJJ community.
It doesn't mean that he's not a good fighter or that he doesn't have good MMA skills, but any claims he makes about ranking in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are considered fraudulent.

I'm just saying, it's pretty amazing that you can find something about the school you are about to train at simply by posting on a martial arts forum. If the forum doesn't have enough members, chances of someone knowing something about that school is low. However, if the forum covers a large member base, then chances of someone knowing something about that school is quite good, with multiple views.
