I don't know about the US, but I know in the UK cauliflower ears mean you're a rugby player - they don't wear any headgear apart from maybe a sweatband - and that's a positive thing rather than a negative. At least this is what I've found. And the girls flock to rugby players.
So if it gets too bad, pack your bags and head over here. Just bring a striped shirt and shorts and you're well in. *laughs*

Lol non-existant, unless you like old el paso fajita kits? We live off Indian takeaway over this side of the pond.

Edit: We also do something called Stand And Stuff shells, apprently. Which just sounds... wrong.

Do ear guards inhibit your grappling??? Sometimes when I grapple at my school or with my brother i get my ear(s) squeezed trying to escape a guillotine or side headlock, it sux. You feel it for a few days. I could see how the head snaps would mess you up trying to escape though. Prob beats cauliflour ears though.

They tend to get mashed into your face.

They also make it easer to control your head.

I hate head gear, I will only wear mine during an active bout of cauliflower.

okay... I have overcome my gag reflex and decided to post on this thread While I suppose you may want to 'drain' the ears yourself.. as previously stated... 'infection' should be your major concern! Steph infections have become more and more common and remember, steph is on you 24/7 so it's not like you can just 'avoid' it! I personally would see a doctor First!! Then it may be that he/she will be able to supply you with needles and antibotics when needed! Also, Tri.. I would have them test to make sure you do not already have an infection!!

Okay, now I will stop being all 'motherly' LOL Just want to make sure you guys are healthy enough to still come down in a few weeks!!

Chapel tell that to Mexicans

LF,

Thanks for your concern. I am going to go to the Doctor anyway so I will bring it up. I've had Staph a few times as I'm sure most grapplers have, I'm pretty confident I don't have it now. I'm 100% okay for the 9th

I don't mind real Mexican food, but Tex Mex, I'm not so fond of.

I don't like califlower either

I wouldn't last five minute grappling, my ears are so full of piercings. I don't wear dangly earrings anymore though, I learnt my lesson catching a hoop on some curtains.
Blood... EVERYWHERE.

I'm with Tri on this one...How can one live without Mexican food?!?!? The closest thing my co-worker eats to Mexican is Taco Bell. Otherwise he doesn't eat it. I don't understand it.
