Thumbs up

Eggs are good for you, throw some protein in (meat), have a glass or 2 of juice, grab some toast, have some fruit...etc etc.

i try to avoid juice personally. eating fruit is better. because your body does not have to break up anything juice is kinda pure sugar(of course not as bad as sugar juices or pop) .... and yeah with a active life that is good, but not so much it you are cutting.... and although i don;t need to cut weight (don't compete), i am a stupid girl and thus even though i am of a healthy weight i would still like to be a little less chunky

Three pages of posts, and nothing but accepted "breakfast" foods.

So many forum posts about creativity and JKD, no style, etc...
but for breakfast, only eat accepted breakfast foods.

OK people, congrats for thinking "in the box",
I personally have roast beef, turkey, tuna fish, etc....
the same stuff I would have at any other time of the day.

By the way, I don't follow the breakfast, lunch, dinner schedule either.

To answer the original request of the post, I have "Bob's Red Mill brand Scottish Oatmeal" It ends up making a porridge-type breakfast. It only takes 5 minutes in my microwave, and probably would take a lot less if it weren't for the raisins that I add to it. I've actually found that the stuff is way better in the microwave than made on the stove. I think that if it was made more traditionally, in a huge batch meant to serve a bunch of people, it probably would be really good on the stove. It just doesn't work in a small, one person batch.

To answer the new request, I sometimes have rice and veggies with some source of protein such as tofu, chicken, beef, or pork. It's a good breakfast and is nice and filling. Gives you a wide range of types of energy to get you started and keep you running all day.

However, some people are incapable of thinking outside of breakfast foods when it comes to breakfast. One person I've trained with came over for breakfast before class, and I was making steak and rice. When I asked him what kind of veggie he wanted his response was "for breakfast?" He ended up just having steak and rice if I remember right.

I used to eat oatmeal like crazy during my year end school vacation last year. I was 14 yrs old. I ate quaker instant oatmeal (unflavoured) with lots of dried cranberries and raisins. Even though I ate so much I could still stay at 48 kg at 1.65m.

Now I've stopped eating oatmeal but I eat sandwiches instead and yeah I'm 51.5kg now.

I have more stamina, strength and power now than last year but I think I may be better if I shed 3 kg!
