Oatmeal help

hi, i am trying to eat better and i know that includes a breakfast of some sort. i heard that oatmeal is the best thing for you in the morning so i am going to give that a try. i know that the favored quaker packs, no matter how good they taste, are not "good" for you, but what about non-flavoured instant kind? i don't know my oatmeal, but doesn't oatmeal have to boil for a while, or am i thinking porage? i would not be willing to waste the time in the morning doing that so if i could get instant "just add hot water" kind i might actually stick to eating oatmeal in the morning.

any other good breakfast ideas? or tips for eating well in general that have helped you?

Cereal and oatmeal are pretty much the same when you break it down. So it all depends on how you feel that day. Oatmeal in the winter, cereal in the summer isn't a bad idea.

Yeah low fat yogurt, and heaps of fruit, i tend to add, banana, rasins, sultanas and strawberrys, plus other combos, so it doesnt get boring. With Oatmeal its kinda instant made, how i make mine is in the microwabes, add some water turn te m/w on for a min then take it out and add more water if need be.

Well maybe you could just buy enough fresh fruit for the days you have your oatmeal, or just stick with the frozen fruit and make sure its not filled with other stuff thats not just visable (You kno how companys work these days LOL). Oh maybe even add nuts! like almonds or walnuts, use your imagination! If you take whey, put some in!!

haha it's saturday morning 9 54 am!!! Whey is pretty much the best source of protien available and its made out of milk(say when it curdles and its called milk plasma) also provides the build up of animo acids which builds the good ole mucsle tissue. So in other words itll help with the making of mucle, thts if u want to tone up and its good for dieting. Personally i only use it if im wanting to bulk up and train alot. Espically after winter to drop the extra fat% rate.

Hope the helps.

Bananas are goooood lol, very good to start the day with aswell as they contain the three main sugars: sucrose, glucose & fructose - which will get your brain in gear!
