Well, although love can cloud the mind, there's nothing wrong with it if you keep thinking logically. And tea is actually an exellent thing to drink after a MA class or sparring, especially green tea.

i no this is a bit of the subjects but its close enough, when doing ma and you need a drink badly either because your mouth is dry or feeling a bit dehydrated, i alway drink to much water and then when i get back to what your ever im doing i start to feel sick, how could you prevent this?

I've felt that too. Try drinking small, short sips of water. Drink as slowly as you can and it doesn't enter your body as fast. I think it might be because of some drastic change of temperature when you drink too fast...

at HKD we were not allowed to drink for that reason. at most we were allowed to take just enough water to wet our mouths.... it sounds harsh, but your body does adjust and gets use to training with little water. for the first month of MT i would not drink water becuase i have been told for so long that drinking water during class shows weekness :P

That makes sense. In my shotokan I drink less and less water every class. I guess I just get busier and better, thanks to my sensei. I think the body just develops over time with MA and gets better.

It doesnt matter if you show weakness, your there to learn and what other people think doesn't matter, as long as you can get what you need out of the class.
