That's pretty impressive, LF. Did you take any break in between at all? I started pretty early too, but I've had too many interruptions in between.

Did kyokushin karate at age six for about a month, instructor sucked, my first sparring session was full contact with a much bigger and more experienced kid. You can imagine the results... Then I was pressured into starting wado at 13, I hated it in the beginning, but I got hooked after a while I'm 21 now, been training ever since.

Oddly enough, the longest break I ever took from MA was for about 4 to 5 months. I was dojang-sick after about a month though. (I just decided I needed to know if I really wanted to continue for the rest of my life, like my father or not) I even trained and taught MA up to 7 1/2 months into my pregnancy (that's when my balance started giving alittle) I started back 3 weeks after though! Maybe it's time for a vacation? Nahhhh.. lol

Did some boxing and tkd when I was ...13 I think. Quit that after about a year or so then picked up Tai Chi/ Kung Fu when I was 20 and have been studying it in some form or another since then. I'm ...sheesh...38 now.
