Home Country: | I started training in Shotokan Karate at age 25 for a few months and then switched to Tae Kwon Do (since it was taught where I live). I haven't regretted it and have been doing it for 15 years now. |

| Started at four when a village elder took me under his wing. He also taught me chess to increase my understaning of tactics. I gained my repect of the elderly and soldiers from him too. Unfortunately I've spent a lot of time away from martial arts due to being uprooted and lack of finances.

Home Country: | Started at... ...age 20 for about 2 and a half months of training, then was out and about for 6 years before going back for another 2 months.
So I got about 4 months total training now 8 years from starts.
So it was 2000 for 2 and a half, 2006 for about 2 and now in 2008 I am trying to get back in.

Home Country: | Officially, at age 15(1997). Started out with JKD/mma type training (muay thai, bjj, wing chun)for about 4 years.
Aftward I just dabbled here and there dojo hopping and training with friends (I touched on capoeira, shaolin, some animal styles, tae kwan do, muay thai, bjj, wing chun, various Karate disciplines, various wrestling techniques, Hakko-ryu Jujitsu, boxing...mainly off and on)
Just recently last year at age 25 at the begining of 2007 (im 26 now) I started trying to settle back down to focus on a main martial art. I tried San-jitsu ryu for the first half of the year. It was actually pertty good. Circumstances made it where I had to stop for a few months, and that's when I gained interest in Capoeira. I've been training in Capoeira for almost 10 months now, and I love it.

Home Country: | Ladyfighter im on my way to the path you are on! ha ha
started at 4, and hopefully the time i stop is the time when my spirit moves on to another world if you know what i mean.
oh yeha well i have a more updated resume' on my profile in user notes if anyone cares ha ha
as of now, i havent been to and stayed (for more than a few weeks ) at any MA school in 3-4 years, and right now the Jing Ga Quan place that was EXACTLY what i was looking for moved so i have the choice of JKD Concepts, Contemporary Wushu/Traditional Kung Fu/ Tai Chi, and Wing Chun, but i yet to have looked into any of those because i am too busy with school. so i guess you can shave off 4 years on my MA time =(

Home Country: | I started with the whole family when I was around 10 with Tang Soo Do, and got to my brown belt around 13. I Stopped till 17 when I started college, and got serious about it then. My instructor let me keep my brown belt, though I felt like I was really starting over from scratch. I got my black belt at 20 in Youn Wha Ryu, then started training with some friends who did MMA, and now at 22 I have been doing BJJ for about a month, and am still trying to keep up with YWR. |
